Poet Clay Zambo describes the text to A Mother's Carol as an utterly human perspective of the Christmas story. Scott Ethier's treatment of this text for SATB chorus and French horn is stunning and emotionally poignant. As Mary accepted her challenge and duty in life, so also are we asked to do the same - May peace be born through me today. Duration: 3:45.
Composer: Scott Ethier

This beautiful, traditional Christmas text, also known as Wind Through The Olive Trees, has been delicately set by Carol Barnett. The beautiful, three staff organ accompaniment provides the long beautiful lines required of this piece. And the final verse, set in a chorale style, never reaches more than a piano dynamic establishing a beautiful manger scene.

Composer: Jocelyn Hagen
