David C. Dickau, a renowned composer, has surprised us with a spectacular medley of traditional holiday songs arranged for 4-Hand piano accompaniment (optional strings and percussion available separately, P9131D). Deck the Hall, He is Born the Divine Christ Child, Angels We Have Heard on High, I Saw Three Ships, Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah, Ding Dong! Merrily on High, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas make up the songs that honor the season. Commissioned by the 2025 Idaho Commissioning Consortium, its premieres will feature several excellent high school choirs. Choirs of all kinds will find this medley a joyful addition to many holiday singing occasions.

This mysterious modal sixteenth century French tune receives a first-class twenty-first century treatment by David Schmidt. Written for the Willamette Master Chorus series, it celebrates the birth of Christ in four intriguing verses and then breaks into a climactic Gloria in excelsis Deo. The ending quiets down softly and resolves into a pleasing major tonality.

The TTBB voicing was premiered in 2025 at the ACDA National Conference under the direction of Randy Stenson. This new SATB voicing has been edited by Rachel Stenson and will be premiered at the ACDA Western Regional in 2026 under the direction of the composer.
