Matthew Levon "Matt" Sallee is the second bass in Pentatonix, replacing former member Avi Kaplan. Sallee was classically trained and sang in all choirs available in high school. He has performed at various prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center, and Mormon Temple Visitors Center, and the Apollo Theater. Upon graduating he was accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music where he earned a plethora opportunities such as, singing for the schools President and Presidential Advisory Committee as the sole performer and becoming a member of one of the country's best collegiate a cappella groups, Pitch Slapped. He joined Pentatonix in October 2017, a month after the departure of Avi Kaplan.
