Female Community Chorus

Based in West Hartford, CT

The mission of the West Hartford Women's Chorale is to enrich the cultural life of the community by performing a broad repertoire of vocal music and to provide music and music education for the benefit of the community. The Chorale takes pride in performing challenging, diverse music in a broad range of innovative and entertaining styles. Open to any woman who wants to sing, the Chorale provides a supportive learning environment for its singers regardless of prior music experience.

The Chorale provides young artists with opportunities to perform with the group and also supports an annual scholarship for music students. Besides two yearly concerts, the Chorale hosts an annual Festival of Women's Voices and regularly performs for the benefit of other charitable organizations.
