The Wellesley Choral Society was founded in 1947 after several choruses in the town of Wellesley joined forces for a holiday festival, and the Wellesley Community Chorus, as it was called until 1966, was born. The first conductor of the Chorus was Amy Young Burns.

Currently the Society has roughly 55 members. Our purpose remains the same: to study and perform the world's great choral music, both sacred and secular.

Non Audition.

Rehearsal Information - Generally, the Society rehearses on Monday Evenings from 7:30 to 9:30, from September through May.
