Female Choral Ensemble

Tapestry Ringers and Singers is a combined 5-octave English Handbell and Women's Vocal Ensemble, a unique combination. We perform a themed series of concerts each Spring and Fall throughout Contra Costa County.

Tapestry Singers is an SSA chorus of between 15 and 30 members that performs in a variety of genres, sometimes accompanied by handbells, sometimes piano or other instruments, and sometimes a cappella. Our music is generally memorized. Adjectives that describe us are: musical, energetic, joyful, spirited, passionate.

We are a community ensemble, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to entertain, educate, and raise money for charity.

In the summer of 2025 Tapestry is rebuilding after a number of retirements from the group. If you are looking for a group to sing with, we strongly encourage you to get in touch with us!

Audition Policy - Prospective singers need to be able to read music, be willing to memorize the repertoire, and have had considerable experience performing eclectic choral music. Interested candidates are generally asked to attend a rehearsal to be sure they integrate well with the musical and social culture of the group.
