Male Barbershop Chorus

Based in Cincinnati, OH

The Southern Gateway Chorus is an all-male a capella chorus that sings barbershop style music. We have performed all over Cincinnati and also enjoy competing in the Barbershop Harmony Society's annual international competition.

Founded - 1956.   Ongoing Tryouts.

Audition Policy - Learn your part on audition song 'Slow Boat to China' and sing your part with three other guys (in a quartet) in front of one or two members of the music team. We have learning tracks and sheet music to help you learn, and members of the chorus are happy to help prospective members learn their part.
