Mixed Community Chorus

Based in Milwaukee, WI

Founded in 1973 by Marlys Greinke, MSM has completed 48 continuous seasons, and will celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2023. We are an adult mixed choral ensemble composed of highly talented vocal musicians. Our depth of range and power comes from members with extensive musical backgrounds, ranging from internationally recognized vocal soloists, professional music teachers and choral directors, serious amateur vocalists, university music students, and high school choral students from the greater Milwaukee area. This is an audition-required organization encouraging the highest level of musicianship possible.

MSM performs a wide variety of excellent music, featuring over 400 composers ranging from Renaissance to Contemporary, and featuring (but not exclusive to): Hildegard von Bingen, Palestrina, Monteverdi, Mozart, Haydn, Beethovan, Faure, Poulenc, Paulus, Rutter and Ratcliff.
