Community Chorus In the spring of 1993, a small group of Federal Way musicians gathered with the desire to form a community Chorale. These people loved to sing and saw a need for a Chorale that would emphasize the performance of quality choral literature from all musical ages and styles. Because of great pride in their city, the first board proudly selected the name of FEDERAL WAY CHORALE at its inception. In its first season, the Chorale not only sang two major works, Handel's "Messiah" and Schubert's, "Mass in G", but they also sang a wide variety of quality octavos based on the theme we still use from time to time, "From Bach to Broadway". It has been the belief that each Chorale program should have something for everyone's taste.
