Mixed Choral Chorus

Based in Jersey City, NJ

The Cantantes in Cordibus Choir at Our Lady of Sorrows Church is composed of about 16 voices who offer the finest of the choral arts including Gregorian chant and sacred polyphonic works by great composers like Monteverdi, Palestrina, and Mozart in the context for which they were written, namely, the Latin Mass, every Sunday at 9:00 a.m.

Founded - 2002.   Non-Auditioned.

Directed by Simone Ferraresi.

Audition Policy - No experience is necessary. All are welcome - we will teach you! Willingness to learn and practice is all that is necessary. We specialize in the sacred repertoire from the Renaissance, Baroque and Classical periods.

Rehearsal Information - Sundays, from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Thursdays, from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
