Community Chorus

Based in Danville, CA

The Blackhawk Chorus, based in Danville, CA, performs great choral music in the Bay Area and around the world. With nearly 140 members, the chorus continues to grow in both quality and artistry with every new season under the direction of Diane Gilfether. The chorus has performed on tour in Austria, the Czech Republic, England, Scotland, Wales, Lincoln Center in New York City, and at the Vatican in Rome. In the summer of 2012, the group revisited the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, singing in the beautiful cities of Waterford and Cork.

Audition Policy - The Blackhawk Chorus is always looking for talented singers to join our “family” and our goal is continuous improvement, both in our individual singing ability and as an ensemble.
