Community Chorus

Based in Berkeley, CA

a community chamber chorus based in Berkeley, is to provide rewarding musical and educational experiences for chorus members and audiences alike within the greater San Francisco Bay Area. We embrace a wide range of vocal repertoire from traditions medieval to modern, including well-known to newly-composed compositions. Our singers come from diverse backgrounds and the East Bay communities at large, and are dedicated to offering the highest caliber of performances at reasonable prices. Our concerts often feature local soloists, instrumentalists and composers.

Founded - 1996.   Ongoing Tryouts.

Audition Policy - Bella Musica Chorus membership is open to all proficient choral singers. Auditions are held following rehearsals during the first 3 weeks of each semester.

Rehearsal Information - We rehearse on Tuesdays from 7 - 9:30 pm at St. Clement's Episcopal Church, 2837 Claremont Blvd., Berkeley.
