Community Chorus

The Bay Choral Guild is a 40-voice, auditioned chorus based in Palo Alto with singers from around the Bay Area. BCG's outstanding musical ensemble and rich repertoire are the foundation for innovative programs that bring works together in new and unusual ways. Our concerts offer both audiences and singers the opportunity to enjoy fresh and exciting choral music experiences, and balance enjoyment of the music with new insight and understanding.

Audition Policy - Experienced singers are cordially invited to audition with the Bay Choral Guild. Bay Choral Guild holds auditions for new members in September, January, and March, at the first rehearsal of each quarter. Auditions are by appointment only. In your audition you will be asked to sing a prepared piece of any style that shows your vocal ability and musicality; classical selections are preferred. You will also be asked to do some vocalizing and sight-reading. The audition lasts 10-12 minutes. An accompanist will be provided.

Rehearsal Information - Rehearsals are Monday night, 7:30 pm, in Palo Alto.
