Gold Rush Chorus History
The Gold Rush Chorus was founded in 1983 to bring the joy of Barbershop singing to the foothills of California. As a testament as to just how much fun we have, the GRC has a number of active members today who were charter members 35 years ago! Over those 35 years, the Gold Rush Chorus has held true to its core values: Promote fellowship and friendship among men of good will Celebrate harmony in the barbershop style Provide service to others through our music We're proud of our town and that motivates us to do whatever we can to make it better. The Gold Rush Chorus partipates in a number of community events throughout the year, including the annual Hangtown Days and the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. |
