Three Men and a Tenor History

Three Men and a Tenor

Based in: East Lansing, United States.

Paul, Chuck, Mark and Glenn formed a vocal group expecting to sing only one song together at Michigan State University to help fill concert time in a men's chorus concert. Since that very humble beginning over 18 years ago, these guys have had some amazing musical moments. In 2006, Three Men and a Tenor was voted the "Best Entertainment in Michigan", and the group is loved all over the world.

They effectively warmed up the crowd for American entertainment legends like Chuck Berry, Dionne Warwick, Bob Newhart, Peter Cetera, Pat Boone, Lee Greenwood and The Beach Boys, and were featured at well-known comedy clubs like Zanies in Nashville, and Snickerz in Fort Wayne, IN.

The group has been special live-guests on over 80 national radio and television stations. In 2003, 3MT starred in their very own PBS-TV music concert special, that was broadcasted on over 70 national PBS stations, in markets like Nashville, Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Seattle. The "Three Men and a Tenor" PBS concert won an emmy for best live camera shots. Click here for more information:http://www.moonproduction.com/emmy.htm.

Additionally, Three Men and a Tenor has performed in nearly 1000 schools over their history, stressing to over one million young people across America the importance of following their dreams, and making good decisions in school so they can someday do what they love to do for their career.

Most recently, the guys showcased in front of 3,000 tourism and convention bureau directors from across the country at the National Tour Association Conference at Cobo Hall in Detroit, spurring leads for work in almost every state in America!

Some of the group's greatest experiences have been during 2 tours of the U.S. Military bases in Germany in 2004 and 2006. The group performed 23 shows in 2004, and 38 performances in 2006, and made 2 special guest performances at Landstuhl Hospital in Ramstein. The group was allowed to travel the hospital floors to sing for the soldiers that were hospitalized after being wounded on the front lines of battle in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The 2006 tour was co-presented by the Downtown YMCA of Lansing, and the Daimler/Chrysler Corporation Fund. The 2004 tour was supported by the General Motors/New Car Exchange Program to help provide the sound system and the vehicles for the tour. It was the perfect partnership to boost the morale of the families of our troops overseas. "Three Men and a Tenor" is a remarkable symbol of what is possible if you love what you do. This talented vocal-music foursome made a pact early on to keep the entertainment fun for all ages and to always make an effort to help audiences leave their shows feeling better than when they came. More than just a music group, Three Men and a Tenor represent just what America needs right now- a group of guys that help us remember our sense of family and fun!
