The singer's affection for Nelly is shown in the verse, "heart warm as (a) cup of tea; And bigger than the sweet potato down in Tennessee." The opening lyrics, "I dream of Jeanie with the light brown hair," are said to have inspired the popular 1960s sitcom, I Dream of Jeannie.
