Review: Coppell, TX-based Rhythmix is a multiple Sweet Adelines regional-winning champion and internationally ranked barbershop quartet, and 'What A Ride' is their second CD release, the first being 1999's 'En Route.' 11 finely-crafted standards like 'This Is Some Lucky Day,' Ella Fitzgerald's 'A Tisket A Tasket,' 'I Didn't Want to Fall,' and 'Yes, Indeed' and romantic heart-tuggers like Gershwin's 'They Can't Take That Away From Me,' 'Their Hearts Were Full Of Spring,' 'If You Love Me, Really Love Me' and 'Why Did I Choose You.' The four finish strong with a jazzy, incongruous 'Santa Claus is Comin' to Town' and a tongue-in-cheek, drama-ridden 'High Heel Blues.'
