The core members of the group Reunion had previously performed in the mid-1960s as The Chime-Times. Renamed Reunion in the '80s, they became experts singing in the Persuasions/blue-eyed soul sound. Victors in various Acappella competitions, Reunion has the distinction of being named UGHA Acappella Group of the Year three years running.

From the vaults of Ronnie I and Clifton Records, emerge twenty five Reunion favorites, from this perennially popular doo wop quintet. Still entertaining today, they formed in the 1980Õs, though the experience of individual members goes back way before that. They perform signature doo wop material such as "Wonderful Tonight" and "Looking For An Echo," some tunes the Persuasions recorded, such as "Man Oh Man" and "Buffalo Soldier," and also a bevy of pop classics, like Steve Stills "Love The One You're With." TheyÕre some crossover with their previous two releases, but most of these songs on this CD were from previously out-of-print recordings. Reunion is a solid East Coast a cappella doo-wop group who have now recorded their second record on Collectables Records. This one is different. They have a guest artist joining them. Three-time UGHA winners Reunion - no other group has had that distinction - have been singing together in various incarnations since the 1960's. They also competed in and won the "Acappella Showdown" in 1990 and 1991. This experience has resulted in a smooth fluid sound and crisp delivery; they avoid harshness. Their strong suit is the roundness and fullness of their tone.
