The text of 'Across The Bridge Of Hope' was written by a young junior high Irish boy who very soon after lost his life in a street shooting. And so the poem became the voice of all children, victims in a world of war and violence, and for their universal longing and hope for peace. 'O Son Of Spirit' speaks of justice and respect for one another and the music is serene yet powerful. Excellent for high school, college, as well as church, Mr. Levine's understanding of the a cappella choir is apparent. This is a beautiful piece that deserves high consideration. |
