This is the debut CD of 5-man Twin Cities Contemporary a cappella group Inpulse, formed by members of the St. Olaf College group, The Limestones, which recorded the very good CD 'Set in Stone.' The top-drawer vocal percussion is courtesy of renowned vocal percussionist Paul Donnelly, Inpulse has a fresh, driving sound, writing about 80% of their solid pop material and adding some great covers. 11 songs: 'Obsession,' Sister Hazel's 'Everybody,' 'Dancing Angel,' John Mayer's 'Your Body is a Wonderland,' the very strong title tune, 'Here For A While,' the surprising, self-defining 'Top 5 Reasons (we're not a boy band),' a soaring cover of Journey's SF anthem, 'Lights,' and finishing with our favorite 3 cuts on the CD, 'If Morning Would Come,' 'Pictures On TheWall' and 'Fearless.'
