This gifted amalgamation demonstrates a truly astonishing facility within a number of different songwriting styles: 'Get To The Point' has a hook that would be a hit on pop radio, 'God is Standing By' has a Caribbean flavor. The production of 'It Was the Truth' shows how a simple vocal effect can distinguish a song. 'Sing His Praises' again is a textbook example of production and arranging wizardry: the syncopated 'keyboard' octaves, the placement of the various voices (panning), and the sixteenth-note bass line create atmosphere, a tension and release.
