We love the VM Chorus' a cappella recordings, but, for a change of pace, this romantic CD will soothe even the most implacable soul. Familiar favorites arranged by Jim Clancy such as 'I Only Have Eyes For You' and 'When I Fall In Love' bask in the smooth vocal blend. Most of the tempos are a slow 4/4, and the orchestral treatments are lush but restrained, allowing the melody to remain center stage.
