American Folksong Series

Before all the modern distractions we have today there was a simpler time when people sang and listened to folksongs as a primary source of entertainment. America has a great tradition of early folksongs many which are presented in this fine collection.

CME Celtic Voices

Many great folksongs have come from the Emerald Isle and this series gathers many of the best songs and arranges them for beginning to intermediate chorus and ensembles. A couple of beautiful Irish ballads should be in every choir's repertoire.

Folk Songs For Choirs

A graduate of the Juilliard School of music, Robert DeCormier's conducting engagements have taken him from Broadway and opera to numerous concert tours throughout the United States and Canada with the Robert De Cormier Singers, seventeen years as music director of the New York Choral Society, conductor and arranger for Harry Belafonte, and from 1978 until 2010, music director for the popular folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary.

He has always been deeply involved with folk music and this series offers a selection of some of his favorite choral arrangements of primarily American folk songs.

Judith Herrington Choral Series

Judith Herrington brings more than 35 years of teaching and conducting experience to her work at Tacoma Youth Chorus and Charles Wright Academy in Tacoma, Washington, where she received the Inspirational Faculty Award and the Murray Foundation Chair for Teaching Excellence. A graduate of the University of Oregon, Ms. Herrington earned her Master of Education degree from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. She has furthered her conducting studies through master classes with Rodney Eichenberger and Henry Leck. She has served on the Washington American Choral Directors Association Board as R&S Chair for Children’s Choirs, President and Past-President of the Board and is the 2011 recipient of its Leadership and Service Award. She is an inaugural member of the School of Arts and Communication Advisory Board at Pacific Lutheran University.

Latin American Choral Series

The Latin American Choral Series brings the exciting sounds of Latin America to choirs throughout the world. Selected by Oscar Escalada, the series includes a tremendous variety of styles ranging from the first polyphonic music composed in the New World, to traditional folksongs, tantalizing tangos, love songs, original compositions, and a mass.

A new and fun series that will get your choir bailando! The rhythm of the music of these hit songs by top Latin arts is infectious and will get boih the singers and the audiences swaying. Great additions to any choirs repertoire!

Ron Kean Multicultural Choral Series

Dr. Ronald Kean, Emeritus Professor of Music at Bakersfield College, spent six years as ACDA Repertoire and Standards Chair for Ethnic and Multicultural Perspectives at state, division, and national levels. He is frequently called upon to adjudicate festivals, lecture, and to conduct workshops and honor choirs in the US and abroad.

World Music Series

Harmony singing is found in every culture around the world, each with it's own distinctive style and sounds. This series features local songs from across the spectrum and will be a special treat for your singers to perform and to also perhaps help them learn more about other countries and their people.
