The CARA judges had to make some hard decisions this year, and may we have the envelopes, please. 17 songs, from Tonic Sol Fa's "Na, Na, Na" and 2001 Harmony Sweeps winner Sixth Wave's brilliant "Gimme That Wine," "Jezebel" by Millennium, and the Cadillacs' "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" to the Swingles' "Fool on the Hill," the Heebee-jeebees' hilarious "Arrest This Bearded Gentleman," local boys Hookslide's cover of "Dream On," and Summit favorite Dilemma's "Wishing." Some unexpected treats are the Washington Univ. Mosaic Whispers' "Uninvited" and The Happy Campers' "Camp Minnie Mickey Medley." We won't go into which individual awards were won by whom, but we enjoy hearing CARA's take on the best of the year-- it's all pretty amazing stuff!
