In celebration of the 75th anniversary of its founding, the St. Olaf Choir under the direction of Kenneth Jennings embarked on its first tour of the Orient. The choir sang concerts in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the People's Republic of China and Hawaii. The tour was preceded by a gala concert at the World Theater in St. Paul.
