Beat'Achon is Chaim Birman, Jordan B. Gorfinkel, Elie Landau, Dave Matkowsky, David Max and Avy Schreiber, and "West Side Z'Mirot" (which we assume translates to something like "story"), is their third CD. There are 12 "Shabbat" songs here, Jewish traditional music beautifully and harmoniously sung in 6-part harmony. The booklet included has an explanation of each song in English, then the words in both Yiddish and in the centuries-old calligraphic Yiddish. The CD makes you feel as if you are sitting back in a synagogue, just allowing the ancient spirituality in the words and the sweet soulful harmonies of these talented men wash over you!
