Colorado Children's Chorale : Tellin' it on the Mountain

Review: An exceptional collection of Appalachia folk music, Tellin' it on the Mountain takes listeners on an inspiring musical journey back to a simpler time in our nation's history. The music is arranged by local composer Samuel Lancaster, who has composed dozens of works for the Colorado Children's Chorale through the years. Lancaster describes the music as "a collection of valuable antiques." At times beautifully simple, the music moves the listener through sweet, whimsical grooves to powerfully complex harmonies and pure excitement. Inspired by Appalachia's traditional Christmas "all-night watch" services where people gathered to sing until the Morning Star appeared, Lancaster calls Tellin' it on the Mountain a "remembrance of people gathering to look for new life and new hope." This CD also features two Chorale favorites never before available on one recording: "Christmas in Colorado" and "This Christmastide."

Songlist: Wonder, Wonder, Go Tell It, Bye And Bye, Cradle Song, Angel Band, Wondrous Love, I Wonder As I Wander, Children Go, This Christmastide, Christmas In Colorado

Concordia Choir : Come To The Living Water

Review: The Concordia Christmas Concert has always sought to illuminate through music, art and the spoken word the rich tapestry of parable, theology, and the story that is the interaction of God and humankind that is found in the Holy Bible. Throughout Biblical history, Christ is referred to as the living water. "Come to the Living Water" is about the image of Christ and the coming of Christ into this barren and thirsty world. Concordia's world-renowned musical groups and ensembles, The Concordia Choir, The Concordia College Orchestra, The Concordia Chapel Choir, Mannerchor and Cantabile, and Bel Canto, bring us this magnificent annual live narrated Christmas event in 26 parts. The title cut, "Come to the Living Water," is a dramatic, powerful depiction of the creation of earth, followed by "The Heavens Are Telling of the Glory of God" and the hymn "All Creatures of our God and King." The story of Christ's birth is told with traditional carols like "Ave Maria," "O Little Town of Bethlehem," "Silent Night," "What Child," "Infant Holy, Infant Lowly," and "I Saw Three Ships," but also included are less familiar pieces like Philipp Nicolai's lovely a cappella piece, "Wake, Awake," Rene Clausen's "Calm On The Listening Ear of Night," Eleanor Daly's "Sunny Bank," the Swedish carol "When Christmas Morn is Dawning," and Knut Nystedt's "Cry Out and Shout." Mostly orchestrally accompanied, the joyous "Come to the Living Water" is the next best thing to being at this wonderful event!

Songlist: Fantasia on "Une Jeune Pucelle", Come to the Living Water, The Heavens Are Telling the Glory of God, All Creatures of Our God and King, This is my Father's World, Wake, Awake, O Little Town of Bethlehem, Calm, on the Listening Ear of Night, Lirum Lirum, Sunny Bank, Silent Nigt, What Child, As Lately We Watched, Infant Holy, Infant Lowly, Sing We Now, When Christmas Morn is Dawning, Still, Still, Still, I saw Three Ships, Gaudete, Go Tell It on The Mountain, Hodie Christus Natus Est, Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing, Cry Out and Shout, When I Survey the Wondrous Cross, Compline

Concordia Choir : F. Melius Christiansen 135th Anniversary Concert

Review: Four cameras were used capture this concert of five Minnesota choirs celebrating the legacy of F. Melius Christiansen. Stunning audio and video make this concert DVD a must-have item for your library. One camera was mounted in the shell allowing you to view the conductors from the singer's point of view. Norway-born Frederick Melius Christiansen arrived in the Midwest in 1888 and immediately began establishing his career as a master musician. Accepting an appointment as music director of the fledgling music program at St. Olaf College in Minneapolis, as founder and leader of the St. Olaf Choir from 1911-41, he established a legacy of excellence, which still influences a cappella performances of choirs throughout the country. The Augsburg Choir, Concordia Choir, Concordia U. Christus Chorus, Gustavus Choir, St. Olaf Choir and The Anniversary Festival Choir celebrate the anniversary of F. Melius' birth in 1871 on two beautifully-recorded, powerful choral CDs, 16 pieces on the first and 10 on the second. Our favorites, of course, are "Lost in the Night," "In Dulci Jubilo," "Wake, Awake" and "Praise to the Lord," all arranged by the "Music Master of the Midwest," in addition to "Psalm 50" and "Beautiful Savior," composed by F. Melius. Wonderful!

Songlist: Fest Und Gedenspruche, Lost In The Night, Congori Shango, Stay With US , Canticle Of Praise, Psalm 43, Vidi Aquam, Oculi Ominum In Te Sperant Domine Scutz , Com Away To The Skies , Nun Danket Alle Gott , Make We Joy , In Ducli Jubilo , Living Peace / Heiwa No Kiseki, E'en So, Lord Jesus, LAudate Dominum , Hope In god , The Lightener Of The Stars , I Will Be With You , Wake Awake, Venite Populi , Alleluia , This Little Light Of Mine , Praise To The Lord , Beautiful Saviour

Concordia Choir : Faire is the Heaven

Review: F. Melius Christiansen founded the 65-strong mixed voice Concordia Choir at Moorhead, MN's Concordia College in 1911, then led the choir until handing it over to his son Paul in 1937. Rene Clausen has been conductor of the Choir for more than 20 years, and is also a well-known composer and arranger, having written over 100 commissioned compositions. This veteran, prolific choir boasts over 22 finely-crafted CDs and DVDs in the Singers.com catalog and has long been one of our favorites and best-sellers. The rich, angelic, soaring sound of the Concordia choir is beautifully evident on each of these 10 cuts. Some of our favorites are the title tune, by William H. Harris, Frank Martin's lovely "Agnus Dei," four songs by Eric Whitacre, "When David Heard," "Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine," "I Thank You God for most this amazing day," "This Marriage" and "With a Lilly in Your Hand;"and two versions of "Lo How A Rose E'er Blooming," Hugo Distler's soaring take on it and Jan Sanderson's haunting, surprising carol. Several of these (all a cappella) pieces are difficult and eclectic, but the Choir handles them all easily. Enjoy this remarkable collection by one of America's greatest choirs!

Concordia Choir : Fifty Years with Paul Christiansen

Review: Continuing the tradition of his father, F. Melius Christiansen, who founded the St. Olaf Choir of Northfield, MN, Paul J. Christiansen took over the direction of the Concordia Choir in 1937, and made choir members used to working hard, work even harder. Still, 400 students would compete for the 60 to 65 places in the Choir, and the annual tours became more extensive and acclaimed. The Choir's participation in the annual Concordia Christmas Concerts, seen, with their huge murals, by over 20,000 people a year in the midwest, added to their reputation of excellence. There are two discs here, a collection of the Choir's finest performances. Of the 19 songs on Disc 1, some favorites: "Kyrie Eleison," "Who With Grieving Soweth," "Ascendit Deus," "This Is My Father's World," "Mexican Christmas Procession," "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot," the folk song "Cindy" and the spiritual "Set Down Servant." Of the 15 songs on Disc 2, our favorites: "Pilgrim's Chorus" from Tannhauser, "Born Today!," "My Song In The Night," "He's The Lily Of The Valley," "Lift Up Your Heads," "Ezekiel Saw De Wheel" and finally, F. Melius' own song, that concluded every concert, the lovely "Beautiful Savior." A tribute to a remarkable man, who directed and molded an exceptional Choir, one of the best of all time! Concordia Choir : Memorial

Review: Memorial is a composition for mixed chorus, orchestra and baritone solo, based on subject material which reflets the horrific events of September 11th, 2001, in New York City. Though presented as one continuous movement, the composition follows a program that comprises of four sub-sections - Semptember Morning, The Attack, Prayers and Petitions. Conducted by its composer and director of the Concordia Choir, Rene Clausen, this beautiful piece of music will touch your heart in a way that only music can. The musical texture presents a poignant cascade of emotion that is amplified by the awesome peformance by the Concordia Choir and their Baritone soloist, Peter Halverson (A Concordia College Music Faculty member). Concordia Choir : My Soul's Delight

Review: Spanning a diverse range of choral literature, this acclaimed Minnesota choir has once again produced a pristine recording. Directed by Rene Clausen, the mixed group performs spirituals ("Ain't Got Time To Die"), and folk songs ("Little Potato"), in addition to the expected arrangements of composers such as F. Melius Christiansen ("Praise To The Lord"), whose Scandinavian heritage is part of an acknowledged hegemony in the choral world. Other highlights include the "Noel Ayisyen (A Haitian Noel)" with it's perfect fifth harmonic background, and the droning "Past Life Melodies," which uses a judicious dissonance to craft an otherworldly deja vu. Blissful.

Concordia Choir : Prince of Peace, Hope To The World

Review: Since 1920 The Concordia Choir of Moorhead, Minnesota, has continued to affirm its reputation as one of the nation's finest a cappella choirs. Touring nationally and internationally the choir has performed in nearly every major hall in the United States including Carnegie Hall and Kennedy Center. "Prince of Peace" is their seventh CD release, and it features the 2002 Concordia College Christmas Concert, conducted by the renowned Rene Clausen. Begun on a small scale in 1927, the event as we know it today began in 1937 under Paul Christiansen, son of St. Olaf College choir director F. For a hint of how wonderful this concert is, listen to "For Unto Us A Child Is Born," from Handel's "Messiah," featuring the orchestra and Choir-outstanding. John Gardner's "Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day," Stroope's "There Is No Rose of Such Virtue," Pierce's "How Still He Rests," or sinple carols like "Silent Night," a lilting "Pat-A-Pan," "O Hearken Ye," "Jesus, Jesus Rest Your Head," or the powerful Haitian carol "Noel Ayisen"-it's all amazing.

Over 500 musicians, including the Concordia Choir, directed by Rene Clausen, Concordia College Orchestra, Bel Canto, Chapel Choir, Kantorei, Tintinnabula and Cantabile, tell the story of Christmas in song, segued by a spoken narrative. 22 songs, from Bach's "Sheep May Safely Graze,' and Paul Manz' "E'en So, Lord Jesus, Quickly Come" to Mary Caldwell's "A Lute Caroll" and Rene Clausen's beautiful "Psalm 23." Mostly orchestrally-accompanied. Wonderful, inspirational music from a fantastic annual event!

Concordia Choir : Today Heaven Sings

Review: Directed by the contemporary composer Rene Clausen, the Concordia Choir performs frequently, but not exclusively, modern works. This 1999 seasonal recording features several familiar holiday carols, such as Praetorius' "Lo, How A Rose E'er Blooming," but its appeal is also in the opportunity to enjoy newer, refreshing pieces, such as "How Still He Rests," with it's solemn oboe accompaniment. The eerie, yet beautiful tonalities of "Go Pretty Child," with its sibilant countermelody, are an example of how the Choir's approach is both delicate and unsettling at once. "Noel Aylsyen (A Haitian Noel)" bounces between the root and fifth, urged along in a springing rhythm, punctuated by handclaps. This refined and energetic modernism is exciting and supremely musical.

Songlist: Today, Heaven Sings, The Godly Stranger, O Magnum Mysterium, Noel Ayisyen (A Haitian Noel), Shout The Glad Tidings, Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming, Infant Holy, Infant Lowly, Carol Of The Drum, A Spotless Rose, Go, Pretty Child, How Still He Rests, The Three Kings, Sweet Was The Song, The Exaltation of Christ, Advent Motet, Lost in the Night

Conspirare : An American Romantic

Review: On their new recording Samuel Barber - An American Romantic, Craig Hella Johnson and Conspirare honor the great composer with a selection of some of his finest choral works. Barber's lyrical melodies and unabashed romanticism have earned him a cherished place in the pantheon of 20th-century composers. Featured here are the beloved Agnus Dei (choral version of the famous Adagio for Strings) and other favorites such as Reincarnations and Sure on this Shining Night. The recording also presents two world premieres. Barber's Easter Chorale and the sensual, passionate the Lovers on poetry by Pablo Neruda are heard here in new versions for chamber ensemble and choir prepared especially for Conspirare by composer Robert Kyr.

Songlist: Twelfth Night, To Be Sung on the Water, The Virgin Martyrs, Let Down the Bars, O Death, The Coolin, A Stopwatch and An Ordnance Map, Sure on This Shining Night, Agnus Dei, Prelude, Body of a Woman, Little Girl, Brown Girl, In the Hot Depth of This Summer, Close Your Eyes, The Fortunate Isles, Sometimes, We Have Lost Even This Twilight, Tonight I Can Write, Cemetery of Kisses, Easter Chorale

Review: Conspirare's second studio recording, Requiem, was recorded at The Bank Music Hall in Troy, New York in October 2005, and the CD has already received rave reviews most recently the 2005 Margaret Hillis Award for Choral Excellence, presented by Chorus America. The album includes Howells' and Pizzetti's Requiems and some lovely, forlorn songs. Also a requiem from Austin's Eliza Gilkyson. "This is simply gorgeous choral singing - The Choir achieves near-perfect interpretive consensus and vocal enaemble, with stiletto-sharp intonation and unearthly tonal beauty." - American Rocoed Guide. "Sublime. Conspirare's "Requiem: We are so lightly here" flies on the wings of perfection.

Conspirare : Sacred Spirit of Russia

Review: To understand and partake of the "Sacred Spirit of Russia" requires one, first and foremost, to experience the beauty and splendor of the Russian Orthodox liturgy, which has been an integral part of the Eastern Slav identity for over a thousand years. The sacred music of the "New Russian Choral School" features sublime settings of the liturgy that draw on a rich history of Orthodox chants and native traditions, creating music of unprecedented color and textural richness. Following the lead of Tchaikovsky, composers such as Kastalsky, Gretchaninov, Tchesnokov, Rachmaninov and a host of others have left US a treasure-trove of musical delights. Craig Hella Johnson and Conspirare (featuring the astounding basso profundo Glenn Miller) present a glorious sampling of some of their finest works in this genre.

Songlist: The Great Doxology, Bless the Lord, O My Soul, Glory - Only Begotten Son, The Beatitudes , Come, Let Us Worship, Christmas Troparion, Today the Virgin, As Many Have Been Baptized, Cherubic Hymn , The Creed, A Mercy of Peace , Hymn to the Mother of God, Our Father, Praise the Lord from the Heavens, A Wondrous Birth, We Should Choose to Love Silence, Now the Powers of Heaven, Do Not Cast Me Off in My Old Age, Let Our Mouths Be Filled, Blessed Be the Name of the Lord, Preserve, O Lord, for Many Year, Our Father

Conspirare : Threshold of Night

Review: In the 2007 season, Conspirare captivated audiences with concerts of works by the phenomenally gifted (and award-winning) young composer Tarik O'Regan. Now the Grammy-nominated choral ensemble is set to captivate audiences across the globe with a recording of those same works by O'Regan. This is a recording worthy of attention. A single listen confirms the impression from last year's concerts that this choir and composer are exquisitely matched. Conductor Craig Hella Johnson and his company of voices have the skill to voice all the colors in O'Regan's richly varied musical palette: the densely clustered voices that pull at one another in tense dissonance here and resolve in sumptuous harmonies there, the rhythms that rocket a song along or ease it into a blissful peace. Moreover, they have a feel for the material, for its drama and intensity and the deep spiritual dimension at its foundation. O'Regan, a 30-year-old British composer now living in New York, crafts his own truly original style. Yes, this music is essentially tonal, but hardly could you characterize it as traditionally melodic. O'Regan's music layers voices with brilliant intricacy. Voices cluster seamlessly in full choir, then emerge in delicate solos. He deftly combines airy melodies with only short moments of subtle dissonance to a powerful effect.

Songlist: Had I Not Seen The Sun, The Ecstasies Above, Threshold Of Night, Tal Vez Tenemos Tiempo, Care Charminge Sleepe, Triptych 1. Threnody, Triptych 2. As We Remember Them, Triptych 3. From Heaven Distilled a Clemency, I Had No Time To Hate

Coro Hispano de San Francisco : Ramillete

Review: If "Mexican Baroque" has caught your ear, this wide-ranging anthology of choral music from Mexico, Central and South America is a must; it's got Latin American Renaissance, Baroque, Classic, Romantic and folk-originate works in a rich array of textures, styles and sonorities, from chorus-orchestra down to voice-and-guitar, all performed to the nines by the nation's premiere ensemble dedicated to this repertory: Coro Hispano de San Francisco. Brilliant vocal solos and on-target instrumental work by some of the West Coast's leading names in early music combine with foot-stomping Veracruz zapateados and robust, ranchera-style singing in this sampler from a half-dozen different concert programs. Latin America's choral music is a little-known treasure that's been quietly awaiting rediscovery for decades (or centuries- depending on how far back you want to go). Leading the way in its interpretation is the Coro Hispano de San Francisco, which has been exploring and performing this repertory exclusively since its first concert in 1975. On this disc-its third CD release- the nation's premiere Hispanic chorus turns in an amazingly varied sampling of music for voices and instruments from the cathedrals of Puebla, Lima and Sevilla, the ranchos of Early California, the plazas of Veracruz, all the way to the rain-forest missions of Paraguay and the mountain villages of Nigeria.

Songlist: Te Deum in C, Fecit Potenciam, Laudate Dominum, Cantico del Alba, Gloria, Agnus Dei , Virgen Sancta, Plaza, Plaza!, Las Mananitas Guadalupanas, Los Coflades de la Estleya , Keresimesi odu de o, O Quam Suavis, Digan, Digan, El Tilingo-lingo, La Golondrina, Cuando Uno Quiere a Una, Te Quiero Porque Te Quiero, Es Bueno Darte Gracias, Senor

Counterpoint : Folk Songs and Dances of a Young Nation

Review: Here they present their latest album that brings together new arrangements, ranging from traditional to contemporary, of some of the best known and loved Israeli folk-songs. Unlike European folk-songs, whose origins tend to be vague and lost in the past, most of these songs originated in the 20th century and have known composers and poets. Yet they are folk music just the same, for they live now in the oral tradition. Several generations of Jews have grown up singing them, and some songs, such as Tsena Tsena, Shalom Chaverim and, of course, Hava Nagila, have achieved mainstream recognition. The purpose of Israeli folk-songs was to inspire a new national cultural identity through which, in the words of Hinei Ma Tov, Jewish brothers and sisters from many lands would dwell together in unity. Among many Jews and Israelis throughout the world the songs evoke sentiments of pride and belonging. And despite the inner conflicts between Israelis today and the violent conflicts with its neighbors, the message of this disc is the sincere hope that the entire region may someday achieve unity and peace.

Songlist: Mayim, Los Bibilicos, Hinei Achal'la Bachalili, Rounds Of Israel, Saleinu Al Ktefeinu, Hinei Ma Tov, Ba'a Mnucha, Mi Ze Hidlik, Hana 'Ava Ba Banot, Ayi Ayil, Erev Shel Za Hav, Lo Yisa Goy, Hora Zemer Lach & Hava Na Gila, Al Har Im, Laila Laila, Shir LaShalom, Israeli Medley

Dale Warland Singers : Bernstein & Britten

Review: The forty-voice choir, directed by Dale Warland, are known for their advancement of modern choral literature. This CD bookends works by Bejamin Britten and Leonard Bernstein, with several other composers - Stephen Paulus, Nancy Wertsch and Aharon Harlap among them - contributing. Britten's "Rejoice In The Lamb" (Op.30), is an exercise in contrast, with eerie chromatic dissonances and diminutive solo passages in marked relief to the organ-accompanied, florid crescendos of the chorus. Harlap's "Bat Yiftach" features a distinctive solo French horn motif, rebuked by an agitated chorus; the music from Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms" were actually exerpted from work the celebrated conductor had written for an unproduced Thornton Wilder play! With organ, percussion and harp, the result has several movements and is sung in Hebrew; moments of stark beauty are shattered by portentous discord, only to be relieved by a dreamlike peace.

Songlist: Rejoyce in the Lamb, Antiphon for God the Father, Pilgrims' Hymn, Bat Yiftach (Jephthah's Daughter), Fragments from the Mass, Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Agnus Dei , Chichester Psalms

Dale Warland Singers : December Stillness

Review: A forty-voice chorus devoted to the performance of works by twentieth-century composers, this 1995 recording by the Dale Warland Singers is modern classical choral music at its most inspiring and proficient. Sometimes oblique, emphasizing texture over adherence to an immediately recognizable form, works such as the second track, "Izhe Xeruvimy," seem to unfold in a series of layers. The charming and delicate "The Rune Of Hospitality," with the voices gently and broadly undulating against a repetitive acoustic guitar, suggests the enigma of the universe, the expanse of the night sky.

Dale Warland Singers : Harvest Home: Songs From the Heart

Review: Harvest Home originated in England as a festival for "bringing in the harvest" around the autumnal equinox. The community would work together to get the harvest (usually wheat, barley, corn, and oats) in before the autumn weather closed in. This bringing of the "harvest home" would be an occasion for great rejoicing accompanied by feasting, music, and dancing. Our "Homecoming" takes its origins from this festive term. This recording is a collection of familiar spirituals, folk songs, and hymns. Exquisitely sung and beautifully recorded, this CD offers some of the most heartfelt singing we've heard in awhile. Perfect intonation, sumptuous sound, and familiar tunes - this is Dale Warland at his best. Includes "Deep River," Simple Gifts, "The Water is Wide," Beautiful River ("Shall we gather at the river") "We gather together," and many more. The booklet features full text and notes on each song. The Grammy-nominated Dale Warland Singers, during their 31 years of concerts and recordings, set the standard for excellence in American choral singing. This was recorded before the group disbanded in 2004.

Songlist: Beautiful River (Shall We Gather at the River), Simple Gifts, She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain, Peace, McKay, A la claire fontaine, Deep River, We Gather Together, Not One Sparrow is Forgotten, Cindy, Gentle Annie, We Shall Walk Through the Valley, The Water is Wide, By and By, The Old Church, Lay Me Low, The Road Home,

Dale Warland Singers : Lux Aurumque

Review: Grammy-nominated Dale Warland Singers' final concert, on May 30, 2004, concluded 31 years of concerts, tours, radio broadcasts and critically acclaimed recordings. The Singers, a 40-voice professional choir based in Minneapolis/St. Paul, were recognized as one of the world's best a cappella choral ensembles. "Lux" is a collection of popular 19th and 20th century sacred music that shows just how high Dale Warland's standards were in creating and working with his renowned group. Picking favorites from this strong program isn't easy, but certainly Gretchaninoff's "Of Thy Mystical Supper," Vytautus Miskinis's "O sacrum convivium," Chesnokov's "Salvation is Created," John Rutter's "Hymn to the Creator of Light," the title tune by Eric Whitacre, Dominic Argento's "To God" (In Memoriam M.B.), and Nikolai Golovanov's "Otche Nash." The Dale Warland Singers has long been a favorite of ours for their bright, powerful harmonies and strong direction; "Lux Aurumque" is a beautiful, appropriate swan song for this great ensemble.

Dale Warland Singers : Rachmaninoff Vespers

Review: Some of the most beautiful music in the world can be heard in a performance of Rachmaninoff's Vespers. Better to be described as an All-night vigil, Rachmaninoff uses Russian melodies dating from the Byzantine era. In the Eastern Church, the All-night vigil is observed before religious feasts. This piece is difficult for any non-Russian choir due to the language. The Dale Warland Singers sing with great energy and beautiful dark tones as befits the Russian style.

Songlist: Vespers:, Come, Let Us Worship, Bless the Lord, O My Soul, Blessed is the Man, Gladsome Light, Lord, Now Lettest Thou, Rejoice, O Virgin, Matins:, The Lesser Doxology, Praise the Name of the Lord, Blessed Art Thou, O Lord, Having Beheld the Resurrection of Christ, My Soul Magnifies the Lord, The Great Doxology, The Troparion "Today Salvation Has Come", The Troparion "Thou Didst Rise from the Tomb", To Thee, the Victorios Leader

Dale Warland Singers : Reincarnations

Review: Reincarnations is a program of five American masterworks and includes one world premier recording (Tom o'Bedlam). "The Hour Glass" by Irving Fine is difficult and virtuosic cycle, written in a lyrical style just before his 12-tone experimentation. "Tom o'Bedlam" by Jacob Avshlomov is based on a text about one of the patients of the insane asylum, St. Mary of Bethlehem, in 16th century. Accompanied by oboe and percussion, this powerful piece mimics the nonsense and madness in the text. "Reincarnations" by Samuel Barber is a set of three pieces which uses James Stephen's re-writing of old Gaelic poetry and includes the absolutely gorgeous setting of "The Coolin (The Fair Haired One)." All of the works on this recording are demanding but skillfully sung by the incomparable Dale Warland Singers.

Songlist: The Hour Glass , - O know to end as to begin, - Have you seen the white lily grow, - O do not wanton with those eyes, - Against Jealousy, - Lament, - The Hour-Glass, Tom o'Bedlam , Reincarnations , - When again all these rare perfections meet, - All-circling point, - His body was an orb, - On a round ball, - Nor do I doubt, - See how the arched Earth, Psalm 90 (Charles Ives)
