Ariella Vaccarino jazz vocalist

Opera singer, Cantorial Soloist, and actress, Ariella is passionately pursuing a career in both opera and stage. She has premiered the role of Miranda in L.A. Opera's Journey to Cordoba and Maricella in Opera Pacific's Camino de Fey. Singing in the Czech Republic Ariella performed in the Verdi centennial celebrations. There she sang Gilda from Verdi's Rigoletto with the Zlin Philharmonic, and Violetta from La Traviatta with the Karlovy Vary Symphony orchestra. Most recently Ariella portrayed the insecure quirky Sophie de Palma from Master Class at The Long Beach Playhouse. Audiences marveled as they watched her character transform- " Last spring she played the greedy Nella with Houston's Orchestra X in a modern production of, Gianni Schicchi.

Last spring began with another west coast premier for her, Esperanza in which she sang the title role for Euterpee Opera. Other roles that Ariella has enjoyed peforming are: Musetta of La Boheme, and The Queen of the Night from The Magic Flute, The stage was quickly followed by film this year for JF Lawton's movie Jackson in which Ariella operatically sings on the screen. Beyond the stage, Ariella enjoys lending her voice to the Hollywood music scene, using her high voice to howl on many a horror film including: Nightmare on Elm Street #7, Highlander III, and Vampire in Brooklyn.
