Hot Shots

Hot Shots

Male Barbershop Quartet from FL, United States.

HotShots has been entertaining audiences with their unique comedic style since January of 2004. Described as a combination of The Rat Pack meets the Marx Brothers, the quartet is always surprising audiences with something new and unexpected. The South Florida-based foursome has been invited to perform at corporate events, private functions, weddings, collegiate outreach festivals, Barbershop Harmony Society conventions and international vocal competitions. They have done everything from warming up the audience from center court at the USTA Davis Cup tennis tournament, to a command performance for the Governor of Utah, and of course, crooning some good-ole barbershop in front of their hometown crowd.

The four HotShots, James, Andrew, Paul and Mitch, take pride in entertaining with a wide variety of a vocal styles from traditional Barbershop Quartet music to contemporary a cappella - always with a flair for comedy and drama. Their spoofs on current events leave people rolling in the aisles (which can be a problem since many of their shows are at bowling alleys).

Hot Shots : Another Bad Idea

Review: The Barbershop Harmony Society's '06-'07 Sunshine District Quartet Champions, South Florida's fast-rising Hot Shots are very talented, funny guys (we could tell by the photo on the back of the CD showing them wearing garish matching suits that would make Bozo blush. "Another" features 12 songs, including favorites "Here's to the Losers," "The Weather Channel Song," "The Hurricane Song," "That's Life," "Scottish Spring," "Scotland the Brave," "Music, Maestro Please," "Lydia the Tattooed Lady" and (the accompanied) "Somebody To Love" (featuring Kat Bowser). Hot Shots are big fun on stage, and big fun in this album. Enjoy!

Songlist: Mic Check, Here's To The Losers, The Weather Channel Song, The Hurricane Song, If I Love Again, That's Life, Ave Maria, Scottish Spring, Scotland The Brave, Music Maestro Please, Lydia, The Tattooed Lady, Somebody To Love
