These fifty anthems have been chosen with average church choirs in mind, but it is hoped that the collection will prove useful to cathedrals, collegiate churches and those churches supporting cathedral-like choirs. The collection covers all the main seasons and festivals in the church year and also includes a number of anthems for general use. Twelve of the anthems are suitable for unaccompanied singing.
