Scott Brubacher's 'Psalm 91,' written for Amabile,and Pavel Chesnokov's 'Spaseniye sodelal' to Robert Shaw & Alice Parker's arrangement of 'What Shall We Do With the Drunken Sailor' and 'The Chemical Worker's Song.' R. Thompson's dramatic 'The Last Words of David,' Steven Hatfield's rousing spiritual 'Heaven Somewhere,' Alexander Tilley's poignant 'In Flanders Fields,' the Newfoundland folk song 'A Great Big Sea,' Michael McGlynn's 'Dulaman,' Richard Wagner's 'Pilgrim's Chorus,' Mia Makaroff's lilting 'Mita Kaikatat, Kivonen,' the Scottish Folk Song 'O My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose,' Stephen Sondheim's bluenote 'Send in the Clowns,' and Bach's 'Aria' (from Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D Major'- these are wonderful selections, sung with Amabile's trademark bright, clean, spirited harmonies.
