Den blŒ anemone, by the Klarup Girls Choir, features a mix of a cappella and accompanied songs and arrangements by the Danish composer John H¿ybye. A lecturer in conducting and composition, H¿ybye is a proponent of choral singing for the development of children. The songs on this CD range from popular Danish tunes to newly composed melodies. In common, they all have more modern harmonies. In addition, they have been chosen to reflect the four seasons. These songs are beautifully sung by this celebrated group.
