This book was written to assist the conductor of choral music in the educational process of improving the choral sound, especially in the junior high/middle school and senior high school. A highly practical approach has been taken in presenting various tops: how to work with the voice as a changing and growing musical instrument; how to develop a 'characterist' choral sound; how to organize rehearsal time and effort; how to utilize multiple languages in choral singing; and, how to develop a curriculum for taining the voice and musical 'ear.'
