The book begins with the nuts-and-bolts issues of finding a good teacher and basic steps in learning a song. Then, the author addresses the issue of how to practice, work with a score, audition and perform. Vital issues of vocal health are addressed, as well as career issues facing all singers. The book concludes with some issues in the philosophy of singing, including the psychology of singing.
