They alternate between simply beautiful songs and humor which frequently takes one by surprise because the singing is so good just before they go off the deep end. There are a couple of updated old Smothers Brothers gags, 'Streets of Laredo' and 'I Never Will Marry.' There are a couple of wacky intros to otherwise wonderful songs. They spooflicate Steven Foster unmercifully in an verbal introduction and then sing a beautiful 'Old Folks At Home.' A melodic 'I Don't Know Why' starts so beautifully and then...the vocal horns...
