An a cappella, medium swing version of the great standard " Bye, Bye Blackbird" arranged especially for four-part women's voices. The arrangement features a special introduction, tag and open improvisation section. Playing with melody and rhythm, the arrangement offers a fun challenge to singers and promises to be a hit with audiences. Requires wide ranges (E below middle C for Alto II, and high C for Soprano I). "I Can Dream, Can't I?" is from the composers of the standard, "I'll Be Seeing You", this beautiful 1937 ballad moves between lush harmonies and flowing counterpoint. It is richly texutred, yet accessible to most groups. "Send In The Clowns: is the hauntingly beautiful ballad from Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music is arranged for four female voices. Unusual text painting devices are used to highlight the lyrics as well as tongue-in-cheek circus music. The arrangement will provide a challenge for the female group who seeks a unique setting of this wonderful show tune. |
