With arrangements by members Doug Teel and Marshall Webb, their material is proven Top 40 radio fare such as 'Fly Like An Eagle,' 'How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You' and 'Turn Your Love Around,' with a couple of originals in like vein. That said, the highlight of this CD is Gene Puerling's 'Georgia On My Mind,' the definitive arrangement, performed with stunning accuracy and taste. Their own charts frequently use substitute chords and unexpected harmonies to open up these familiar songs, infusing them with new vitality. Rhythmically, they combine punch with fluid ease, adding a soulful feel to the mix.
