Contemporary California sextet Boyz Night Out is back with their second CD. Seven original songs, plus covers of rock songs such as Pearl Jam's 'Alive,' and strong vocal percussion, courtesy of Boyz Nite Out's newest member, add up to a professional and impressive result. State-of-the-art technology and hip production create a full spectrum of sound, emphasized on tunes such as 'My Heart,' but these guys can sing too, as is evidenced by Boyz-II-Men type cuts like 'When I Look Into Your Eyes.' Funky urban pop, such as the group's own 'Big Black Cadillac' and Lenny Kravitz' 'If You Can't Say No,' packs a wallop.
